The basic objective of The 9th Regiment of Foot is to recreate the history of the American Revolution as seen through the British perspective. In so doing we hope to educate the public and ourselves to many concepts and misconceptions regarding the reasons why the war was fought . In our portrayal of the British in the American Revolution we strive to be period correct, accurate and authentic as possible. We are a full member unit of the British Brigade.

We participate in Living History events, battle reenactments and tacticals as well as parades and ceremonials. Our Objectives are:

1. To recreate and perpetuate the 18th Century military history of the American Revolution. To educate the public through lectures, displays and participation in Patriotic events and programs depicting the role of the British Army in the American Revolution
2. To reasearch, preserve and reproduce 18th Century practices, culture, dress and articles as used during the American Revolution.

Our Company's goal is authenticity, education and a satisfying form of recreation.
